Mornings, 6-10am

Been a Minnesota Boy my whole life. Spent time on the farm and in the city too. Willmar has the best of both worlds. I live here with my Wife and youngest Daughter, plus the dog and cat. I have been in Radio since 1997. Hosting different radio shows and producing programs and commercials. I joined Lakeland Broadcasting in 2006, and have been the Morning Show Host on Big Country since September of 2009. When I am not on the Radio, you’ll find me working on an old car, playing piano, or working for a secret government organization fighting crime around the world.

Middays, 10am-3pm

Hi I’m Mitzi, That accent you hear is from Western PA, where I grew up and went to College at Slippery Rock University thinking I would become a social worker. While there, I participated at the college radio station “so it would look good on my resume”! That’s why when kids ask me about a career, I tell them try everything. You never know how you’ll be inspired. I love what I do and am so happy to be hanging out with you! Thanks so much for choosing to listen.

Afternoons, 3pm-7pm

I am a Texas girl who is a long way from home. I landed here in Minnesota because of my love for radio. Radio has been something that has swept me off my feet the moment I stepped behind a microphone. I am so excited to start this new chapter of my life and my career. I can’t wait to meet you and grow and be apart of the community, and hopefully figure out how to survive in this beautiful winter wonderland.

Evenings, 7pm-Midnight

I’m a Michigander by birth, but a Minnesotan by choice. After studying Broadcasting at Grand Valley State University, I produced mornings at WLAV in Grand Rapids, and have loved the radio life ever since. After moving to West Central Minnesota in the Spring of ‘18, I’ve quickly grown to love the area and all the natural beauty it offers. I can’t wait to be a part of your evenings!

Sports Director

I started working at Lakeland Broadcasting the first of September 1995, when I began as the sports director, just doing morning sportscasts and play by play. Two years later started hosting the midday show on KWLM and joined the Q102 morning show as cohost spring of 2001. I began my broadcast career in Devils Lake, ND as a staff announcer in late summer 1986. From there went to Gillette, WY where I had a great time as the sports director for almost five years. Six different jobs in nine years, now in Willmar for the last 18 plus.
