(St. Paul MN-) Tuesday was another light testing day in Minnesota, which is reflected in the COVID-19 numbers reported Wednesday by the Minnesota Department of Health. The results of only 12,800 tests showed 689 more cases and 16 more deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 99,134 positive test cases, and 2036 deaths. 4 people were admitted to the hospital specifically for COVID-19, with 2 going to the ICU Tuesday.
Locally the number of coronavirus cases was also lower, with Stearns County reporting 25, Renville reporting 2, and Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Meeker and Swift each reporting 1 additional case. Pope County had zero.
