(St. Paul MN-) The Minnesota Department of Health Saturday reported 1565 additional cases of COVID-19, and 31 more deaths. One of the victims was a person in their late 80s in Stearns County. The state's pandemic death toll now stands at 6063. Since February of last year there have been just under 454,000 cases of coronavirus in Minnesota, and of that number, just under 437,000 have recovered. The figures were based on approximately 39,500 test results. Since Thursday, 55 more people have been hospitalized, with 11 going to the ICU.
Locally, Stearns County has reported 51 more cases, 3 in both Pope and Meeker, 2 in both Kandiyohi and Chippewa Counties, and single cases reported in both Renville and Swift Counties.
