(St. Paul MN-) Another big number of additional cases of COVID-19 reported by the Minnesota Department of Health on Friday. There were 3352 cases and 28 COVID-19-related deaths. Locally there were 105 cases of coronavirus reported in Stearns County, 43 in Kandiyohi, 21 in Meeker, 19 in Chippewa, 14 in Renville 8 in Pope and 4 in Swift County. The figures were based on approximately 37,700 test results.

And the new figure for vaccinations in Kandiyohi that came out on Thursday was confirmed Friday at 47.7%. Previously the figure had been closer to 60%, but the state says they adjusted the figures to more-closely match where people who got the shots actually reside, indicating they had been counting some people who had been getting shots in Kandiyohi County as county residents when in fact that had come in from other counties.

Pandemic totals: 755,401 cases, 722,264 victims recovered and 8407 deaths.
