(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Department of Health reported 638 new COVID-19 cases Monday, increasing the state's total to 81-thousand-225 cases. Three more Minnesotans died of coronavirus complications which brings the death toll to one-thousand-860. The new fatalities were in Anoka, Carver, and Waseca counties. Two-hundred-75 people were hospitalized with COVID Monday and 136 patients were in intensive care units. State health officials urged everyone to wear masks and practice social distancing over the Labor Day weekend.
