8 more COVID-19 deaths reported Sunday

(St. Paul MN-) 769 more cases of COVID-19 were reported in Minnesota yesterday, bringing the state's pandemic total to 55,947. There were 8 more deaths reported, and the state has now lost a total of 1614 residents with Coronavirus-related illness. As of Sunday 302 people are hospitalized, 149 are in the ICU, and 48,847 patients have recovered.

Locally, Kandiyohi County is now up to 670 cases with 3 more reported yesterday. Stearns County reported 10 more and are now up to 2817. Chippewa County reported one more case and is at 97, Swift is at 52 and Renville is at 58 cases after each reported one more on Sunday. Meeker County remains at 83 after zero additional cases came in.
