(St. Paul MN-) The Minnesota Department of Health Thursday reported 43 more COVID-19-related deaths, including 4 in Stearns County. The state's pandemic death toll is now at 5817. There were 1598 more cases of coronavirus reported, putting the state's total at just under 442,000, and of that number, just under 421,000 have recovered. The figures were based on 33,000 test results. Over the past week, the state has averaged 1780 additional cases per day, and 35 deaths.
The MDH says since Tuesday 68 people were admitted to the hospital and 10 went to the ICU.
Locally there were 33 more cases reported in Stearns County, 10 in Kandiyohi, 5 in Renville, 4 in Meeker, 2 in Swift and zero additional cases in Chippewa County.
