Another single day record set for COVID-19-related deaths in Minnesota


(St. Paul MN-) Minnesota set another single-day record for COVID-19-related deaths on Wednesday. The 67 deaths reported brought the state's death toll to over 3000, at 3010. Locally, deaths were reported in Meeker, Renville, Redwood, Swift and Stearns County which reported 2.

There were 5102 cases reported to the Minnesota Department of Health Wednesday, bringing the state's total to over 242,000. Of that number, 193,869 have recovered. The figures were based on the results of just over 33,100 tests.

Locally, Stearns County reported 215 more cases of coronavirus. There were 83 in Kandiyohi, 28 in Meeker, 21 in Renville, 20 in Swift, 17 in Pope, and 8 in Chippewa County.
