COVID-19 claims third victim in Kandiyohi County

(Willmar MN-) Kandiyohi County has recorded it's 3rd COVID-19-related death since the pandemic began in March. No information on the victim is available at this time. There were 7000 fewer tests performing in Minnesota Monday than there were on Sunday and numbers of new cases are also down. Locally, there were 17 more cases reported in Stearns County, 4 more in Renville, single cases reported in Chippewa, Kandiyohi and Pope Counties, and zero additional cases reported in Meeker and Swift Counties.

Statewide, 5 more deaths were reported, bringing the state's death toll to 2020. There were 817 more cases of coronavirus reported, and of that number, 88,380 have recovered. There were 8 more people newly hospitalized for COVID-19, with zero going to the ICU.
