(St. Paul MN-) The Minnesota Department of Health Saturday reported 43 more deaths from COVID-19, including 1 in Kandiyohi and 2 in Stearns County. The state's pandemic death toll now stands at 5663. There were 2489 more cases of coronavirus reported Saturday, bringing Minnesota's total to 434,413. Of that number, 412,526 have recovered. The figures were based on approximately 37,500 test results. Since Thursday there have been 57 more hospitalizations from COVID-19, with 10 going to the ICU.

Locally, Stearns County reported 49 more cases, 11 in Meeker, 9 in Kandiyohi, 5 in Pope, 4 in Chippewa, 3 in Renville and 2 in Swift County.
