(Gibbon, MN) -- The Gibbon Fairfax Winthrop school district will allow all students to return to in-person classes this fall despite state COVID guidelines. GFW Superintendent Jeff Horton says they conducted a building analysis using Minnesota State Fire Marshal code to determine full and 50-percent capacity. Horton says the results show G-F-W Schools have enough space to safely educate all students during both in-person and hybrid learning models. Extra safety and cleaning measures will be in place. The district is sending a survey to families and weekly updates until the school year begins.
