(St. Paul, MN) -- State health officials say at least nine cases of COVID-19 are linked to a Trump campaign rally in Bemidji. Infectious Disease Director Kris Ehresmann says one of the people was infectious when they attended the September 18th Trump event. Two of the people are hospitalized and one is in intensive care. Ehresmann says the department is still tracking COVID data from President Trump's September 30th rally at the Duluth airport. D-F-L chair Ken Martin said in a statement, "All of us at the DFL Party hope those Minnesotans infected at Trump’s rally in Bemidji fully recover and we hope the Minnesota Republican Party stops holding events that could seriously injure the people of our great state."
