Kandiyohi County has first confirmed Covid-19 patient

(Willmar MN-)  The first case of COVID 19 has been reported in Kandiyohi County.   The county Health and Human Services department says they were notified by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) that a man in his 60s who resides in Kandiyohi County has tested positive for the virus.   He is in isolation at home.  He was diagnosed at a healthcare facility, and is being monitored by the Minnesota Department of Health. No other information is available for release at this time.   Kandiyohi County Public Health urges everyone to follow the Stay At Home executive order issued by Governor Walz which goes into effect at midnight tonight.  Staying at home is the best way to stop the spread of COVID-19.
