Miller wants CARES Act funds for adult day cares

(St. Paul MN-) State Representative Tim Miller from Prinsburg says organizations that provide day care for adults with disabilities are on the brink of collapse, because they've been shut down indefinitely by the pandemic but have received no financial assistance from the state:

Miller says Minnesota has not asked the federal government for permission to use CARES Act funds, even though 35 other states have already received waivers. He's demanding answers from state Human Services officials, who weren't immediately available to comment.
