Minnesota COVID-19 cases increase by 2178

(St. Paul MN-) Figures released Tuesday by the Minnesota Department of Health show large increases in COVID-19 cases locally and around the state. The number of cases increased across Minnesota by 2178, bringing the state's pandemic total to 137,536. There were 15 more deaths, putting the death toll at 2368. There were 14,700 test results given, and 122,100 patients have recovered.

Locally, Stearns County reported 108 cases of coronavirus, there were 52 in Kandiyohi, 22 in Chippewa, 14 in Meeker, 4 in Pope and 2 cases in Swift and Renville Counties. There was also another COVID-19-related death in Renville County, bringing their pandemic total to 12.
