Minnesota has 25th straight day of single-digit COVID-19 deaths

(St. Paul MN-) Monday's COVID-19 figures from the Minnesota Department of Health show no additional cases in Swift, Chippewa and Renville Counties. They remain at 50, 90 and 53 cases respectively. There were 3 more cases reported in Kandiyohi County, bringing the pandemic total to 647, and Stearns County reported 13 more, putting them at 2734. Meeker County is now at 81 cases after a single additional case was reported Monday.

Statewide, there were 650 more cases reported bringing Minnesota's total to 51,803. There were 2 more deaths, which is the 25th straight day of single digit fatalities, bringing the death toll to 1576.

257 people are hospitalized, 126 are in the ICU, and 45,198 have recovered from the coronavirus in Minnesota since the start of the pandemic.
