Minnesota has gone more than a month with single-digit coronavirus deaths

(St. Paul MN-) The Minnesota Department of Health Wednesday reported 9 more COVID-19 related deaths in the state, putting the pandemic death toll at 1629. That's 33 days-in-a-row of single digit daily deaths, going back to July 2nd. The last time there were back-to-back double digit death days was June 19th and 20th.

The Department of Health reported 629 more cases Wednesday, bringing the total to 57779, with 305 people hospitalized, 152 in the ICU, and 51223 victims having recovered.

Locally, there were five more cases reported in Stearns County, 4 more cases in Kandiyohi County, two cases in Chippewa and Meeker Counties, and no additional cases reported in Renville and Swift Counties.
