Minnesota's COVID-19 count for Tuesday under 1000

(St. Paul MN-) The Minnesota Department of Health Tuesday reported less than 1000 additional cases of COVID-19 for the first time since March 23rd. There were 998 cases of coronavirus, putting the state's pandemic total at more than 581,000, and of that number, nearly 561,000 victims have recovered. There were 11 COVID-19-related deaths reported, putting Minnesota's death toll at 7174. The testing numbers were also lower, approximately 11,600.

Locally, Stearns County reported 18 cases...there were 3 in Kandiyohi, 1 in Meeker, and zero additional cases reported in Swift, Renville, Pope and Chippewa Counties.
