(St. Paul MN-) Tuesday's COVID-19 report from the Minnesota Department of Health was very similar to Monday's...there were 513 additional cases reported and 1 death. That brings the state's case total to just over 480,000, and of that number, more than 467,000 have recovered. And the death toll now stands at 6434. The figures were based on around 8600 test results.
Locally, Stearns County reported 8 more cases of coronavirus, there were 2 each in Kandiyohi and Meeker Counties, 1 each in Chippewa and Pope Counties, and zero cases in Swift and Renville Counties.
Since Sunday 26 more people have been hospitalized with 8 going to the ICU, and through Sunday more 1.1 million Minnesotans have been vaccinated with at least one dose. That includes 6055 in Kandiyohi County, which is 14.1 percent of the county's population.
