(St. Paul MN-) Tuesday's COVID-19 report from the Minnesota Department of Health again showed lower numbers of new cases and deaths. There were 13 deaths, bringing the state's death toll to 5724, and 1335 additional cases of coronavirus, putting the state at nearly 439,000 for the pandemic. Of that number, just under 419,000 people have recovered. The figures were based on 28,300 test results. Since Sunday, 47 additional people have been hospitalized and 6 have gone to the ICU. The MDH also says since Saturday, 144,503 people have been vaccinated, including 1194 in Kandiyohi County.
Locally, Stearns County had 28 additional cases of COVID-19, Meeker had 8, Kandiyohi had 7, there was 1 case reported in Swift, and zero cases in Chippewa and Pope Counties.
