New records set in COVID-19 cases, deaths in Minnesota


(St. Paul MN-) Friday was another record breaking day for the COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020. Minnesota had it's most reported cases in one day...813, and most deaths at 32. There have now been 19,005 positive cases of COVID-19, and 842 deaths.

12,696 have recovered, 534 are currently hospitalized, and 233 are in the ICU.

Locally, Kandiyohi County reported 15 more cases bringing the total to 443, and Stearns County had 25 more cases and 2 more deaths, bringing their totals to 1881 cases and 12 deaths. Stearns County has falled into 3rd place in total cases...Hennepin County is still number one, but Ramsey county has taken the number 2 slot with a total of 2018.
