(St. Paul MN-) While the number of additional cases is going down locally, the number of COVID-19 related deaths in Minnesota continues to rise. The Minnesota Department of Health says 32 more deaths were reported Thursday, the largest single-day increase since the pandemic began, bringing the state's total to 809. There were 539 more cases reported more than 100 fewer than yesterday, bringing the total to 18,200. 566 people are hospitalized, 229 are in the ICU, and 12,488 have recovered.
Locally, Kandiyohi County only saw 2 more cases since Wednesday, bringing the total to 428, and Stearns County had 22 more cases, bringing their pandemic total to 1853.
