(Willmar MN-) Last fall the Willmar Rotary Club received a matching grant from the district to help Carris health purchase PPE for all Carris sites, and a UV sterilizer for the Rice Hospital ER. The club, along with Redwood Falls and Minnetonka contributed $1000 each, the district matched those contributions with $8000 and Carris Health Foundation contributed $19,000. The UV sterilizer has been purchased and is being used. Rotarians and Friends of the Rotary in Redwood Falls and Willmar have made 435 masks for distribution to all Carris sites to fulfill the sweat equity component of the project. At 10 a.m. Tuesday they will start distributing masks to patients and visitors at Rice Hospital and clinics in Willmar, Litchfield and New London.
