(Owatonna, MN) -- The Minnesota State Patrol says a crash on Interstate 35 near Owatonna Thursday forced northbound lanes to be closed. About 20 passenger vehicles and six jack-knifed semis were involved. Only minor injuries were reported. Thursday morning’s snowfall is being blamed for 146 crashes across the state, with more than 100 vehicle spinouts. Eighteen people needed medical treatment, but none of the injuries were classified as serious.
