(Anoka, MN) -- The wounded Anoka police dog has been released from the hospital. The dog Bravo was shot while officers were chasing two carjacking suspects near Braham Sunday. The bullet nicked Bravo’s trachea and caused some soft tissue damage. One of the suspects was eventually shot to death and the other was taken into custody. A spokesperson for the department says the Bravo is expected to make a full recovery and return to duty. Charges are expected to be announced against the arrested suspect today (Tuesday).
