(Monticello MN-) A teenaged boy is dead after being struck by a car while riding his bicycle in Monticello. The state patrol says the victim was riding northbound on Highway 25 at Kjellberg Court when he was hit by a northbound car driven by 25-year-old Carla Hemminger of St. Cloud. The victim's name has not been released. The accident happened at 9:49 p.m.

(Bertha MN-) A Willmar man was involved in an SUV-semi crash in Bertha yesterday morning. The state patrol says it happened at 9:16 a.m. on Highway 71 at Todd County Road 24. 54-year-old Juan Mendoza of Willmar was driving the sem southbound on 71 when he hit an SUV that was crossing the highway at County Road 24. Mendoza was not hurt, but the SUV driver, 56-year-old Sheila Klein of Browerville, was taken to the Long Prairie Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

(Clarkfield MN-) Two people were hurt in a three-vehicle crash east of Clarkfield yesterday morning. The state patrol says at 7;50 a.m., a car traveling eastbound on Highway 67 was stopped, getting ready to turn onto Yellow Medicine County Road 8, when the car was rear-ended by a mini van driven by 39-year-old Justin Carlson of Hendricks. Upon impact, the car, driven by 39-year-old Melinda Hedman of Clarkfield struck a pickup that was westbound on 67. Hedman and Carlson were taken to the Granite Falls Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
