(Willmar MN-) A Lake Lillian man is jailed after an incident involving explosive devices in Willmar last week. Willmar Police say just before midnight last Friday night they were dispatched to a home in the 1400 Block of Lakeland Drive on the report of a physical domestic incident. When police got there, the suspect was gone but he was later found in a vehicle in the 1400 Block of Becker Avenue SE. In his car officers found drugs, paraphernalia, a sawed-off shotgun and what appeared to be two homemade bombs. The Minneapolis Bomb Squad was called and rendered the devices safe, and took them into evidence. They are now under examination by the FBI. The suspect, 38-year-old Brian Kohls is in the Kandiyohi County Jail facing a raft of charges including possession of drugs and paraphernalia, domestic assault, 5th degree assault, threats of violence, and possession of a short barreled shotgun and explosive devices.
