KARE 11

(New Brighton, MN) -- Residents of Minnesota have reported seeing a fireball in the sky over the weekend. KARE-11 reports those who live in New Brighton, Prior Lake, Oakdale, and Cokato sent in doorbell and security camera clips showing the bright ball in the sky Sunday morning. Meteorologists say it was likely a small meteor that burned up in the atmosphere. Some meteor sightings were logged in the state around the same time on the American Meteor Society webpage.
