(Willmar MN-) The Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Thursday to continue discussion on the OSHA COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard regulations. Those regulations, which have been challenged all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, mandates employers with 100 or more workers to require COVID-19 vaccines, and put a mask mandate and testing protocol in place for unvaccinated workers. The board will especially be discussing the mask mandate in county buildings. County Administrator Larry Kleindl and County Commissioner Steve Gardner encourage people to get vaccinated...

...Kandiyohi County has not yet passed a vaccine, mask and testing policy. Others, like Swift County, are waiting to see if the supreme court overturns the OSHA rules. The Kandiyohi County Board meeting begins at 3 p.m. in the commissioners' chambers in The Health and Human Services Building on North Highway 71 in Willmar.
