(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Hennepin County prosecutor is charging a 23-year-old man with first-degree assault for attacking an elderly victim and leaving him with serious brain injuries. Investigators say the 75-year-old man had just gotten off a bus when Leroy Davis-Miles punched him, causing him to fall and hit his head on the pavement. Witnesses say the older man had asked Davis-Miles to keep his voice down while they were on the bus. Authorities used facial recognition software to identify him as the suspect in the attack. Police found clothing in his home which matched what he was wearing when he was caught on surveillance video.
