(Hastings, MN) -- An Apple Valley man will spend six months in jail and six months on home monitoring for the death of his son in a hot car last summer. Kristopher Taylor was charged with second-degree manslaughter in the death of the four-year-old boy in a parking lot near C-H-S Field in St. Paul. Taylor was working at an event and told investigators he couldn't find child care for the boy so he put him in the car and cracked a window. When Taylor returned nearly six hours later, the boy was unresponsive. Taylor rushed his son to the hospital where he died.
