Wisconsin police say 13-year-old Jayme Closs, who went missing in October, has been found alive. Closs went missing on October 15th when her parents were found shot to death in Barron County in the western part of the state. The Barron County Sheriff says a suspect has been taken into custody. Jayme's disappearance prompted a massive effort to find her, but authorities had found no signs of her.
Closs was found yesterday disheveled and malnourished but alive after fleeing her captor and seeking help from neighbors. A woman walking her dog said Closs walked up to her and asked for help. The woman took her to the nearest neighbor's house where the police were called. Family members living in the house say they tried to make Closs comfortable while waiting for authorities. A 21-year-old suspect was taken into custody a short time later.
