(Clara City MN-) A New Ulm man suffered life threatening injuries when his motorcycle collided with a mini-van near Clara City Wednesday afternoon. The state patrol says it happened at 2:37 p.m. on Highway 23 at Chippewa County Road One, northeast of Clara City. 48-year-old Craig Lund of New Ulm was traveling southbound on Highway 23 on his Harley Davidson when a minivan turned onto the highway from County Road 1, and they collided. A LifeLink Helicopter landed at the scene and flew Lund to St. Cloud Hospital. The driver of the mini-van, 72-year-old Paulette Kortgard of Clara City suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
