(St. Paul, MN) -- A report from the Minnesota Department of Health is showing more than 17-hundred new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. Public Health officials found 1,713 confirmed coronavirus cases yesterday and six new deaths. Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, Minnesota has seen over 570-thousand cases of COVID-19 with more than 72-hundred deaths and more than four-million vaccination doses.

Locally, Stearns County reported 27 more cases on Sunday,  there were 10 in Kandiyohi, 6 in Meeker, 3 in Swift, 2 in Pope, 1 in Renville and zero in Chippewa County.
