Miller

(Prinsburg MN-) Representative Tim Miller of Prinsburg says he had to change the location of his annual fundraiser twice last week after the venues that were hosting the event were threatened. Miller, a Republican, represents District 17A which includes Swift, Chippewa, Renville and a small portion of Kandiyohi Counties. He says for the past 4 years he has held the event at a local winery, but because he invited Representative Steve Drazkowski to speak, a tiny group of protestors threatened the winery, so Miller moved the event to the Montevideo American Legion, where the same thing happened...

...Miller says they decided to relocate to a city park in Montevideo, and they had a wonderful turnout on August 1st. He says because people disagree with Drazkowski's calls to investigate tax and immigration fraud and campaign finance violations of U.S. Representative Ihlan Omar, two legitimate businesses were threatened...

...Miller says in the upcoming year he hopes this doesn't happen again. Drazkowski and Miller are members of the 4-member New House Republican Caucus in the legislature.
