Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar remains in the mix among a crowded field of Democrats running for president. Asked by the Washington Post if the party is moving too far to the left, Klobuchar responds...

"we have a lot of voices in our party, we are not the party where one man, as in the Republican side, Donald Trump says how high can you jump, and everyone says well, maybe I'll jump as high, they just go whatever he wants right now, they're doing. We are a party that has different views."

Klobuchar, who lags behind frontrunners Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris in the polls, has reached the polling threshold to qualify for the third Democratic presidential debate, scheduled for September. And she is scheduled to appear in a C-N-N hosted debate next week.
