(Hutchinson MN-) A Hutchinson man ended up in the water after breaking through the ice of Lake Washington Sunday morning. The Meeker County Sheriff's Department says at 11:06 a.m. Sunday they received a report of a snowmobile through the ice on Lake Washington which occurred about 5 hours earlier. A snowmobile driven by 42-year-old Joshua Campbell of Hutchinson, went in to open water in an area approximately 200 feet from shore south of the intersection of 233rd Street and 699th Avenue. Campbell told deputies he was unable to see the open water due to darkness. Campbell was able to get out of the water on his own and was not injured.
