(Swift Falls MN-) An outdoor funeral service is planned Monday at the home of a rural Benson man who died June 29th after a freak accident in May. 74-year-old Steve Svor was badly burned May 8th when he fell off the back of a pickup truck and into burning grass as he was doing a controlled burn on CRP acres near his home south of Swift Falls. Svor passed away Monday June 29th at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis. A funeral service takes place this coming Monday at 11 in the pasture at Svor's home. Svor was a retired worker for The City of Benson, and he and his wife Gail have operated the Benson Roller Rink for the past 40 years.
