State Patrol

(Foley MN-) A semi collided with an SUV containing several elderly people near Foley Thursday afternoon. The state patrol says it happened at 1:29 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 25 and Duelm Road, 6 miles south of Foley. The SUV was eastbound on Duelm Road and collided with a semi that was traveling northbound on Highway 25. The driver of the SUV, 73-year-old Phyllis Close of Zimmerman wasn't hurt. She had five passengers, and two of them, 78-year-old Eugene and 77-year-old Barbara Kluk of Elk River were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, as was the semi driver, 54-year-old Cehab Alzamily of Texas.
