(St. Paul, MN)  --  Attorney General Keith Ellison says a Tennessee-based security company will not be recruiting military veterans to work in Minnesota on Election Day.  Ellison's office won a written assurance from Atlas Aegis (EE'-jiss) that it is not recruiting and will not recruit or provide private security at or near polling places in conjunction with the November 3rd election.  As part of the settlement, the company admits that it was wrong to suggest it was recruiting security for “protection of election polls” in Minnesota.  Ellison said "Minnesotans should expect that our elections will run as safely, smoothly, and securely as they always have."
