(Undated) -- A Blizzard Warning goes into effect at 6:00 pm Thursday for much of West Central and Southwest Minnesota. Nearly all of Minnesota is under either a winter weather advisory or a winter storm watch. According to the National Weather Service, a wintry mix will transition to all snow later today. Areas near Mankato could see upwards of ten inches of snow. Far southwest Minnesota could also see blizzard-like conditions with wind gusts around 50 miles per hour.
