(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Golden Gopher football team will host 15th-rated Wisconsin on Saturday in a game that has Big Ten title game implications. The Badgers can clinch a spot in the December 4th league championship in Indianapolis with a win over Minnesota. The Golden Gophers have a path to get to Indianapolis if three things happen.
Minnesota needs to beat the Badgers, have Nebraska beat Iowa on Friday, and Purdue win against Indiana on Saturday. That would create a four-team tie atop the Big Ten West standings and leave Minnesota winning the tie-breaker and earning a spot against the Big Ten East champ. The Gophers are currently 7-4 overall and 5-3 in the Big Ten. Wisconsin is 8-3 overall and 6-2 in the conference. Saturday's game kicks off at 3:10 P-M at Huntington Bank Stadium.
