(Minneapolis, MN) -- The University of Minnesota football team entertains the University of Maryland in an afternoon game at Huntington Bank Stadium tomorrow. Both teams are 4-2 on the season.
The Golden Gophers are 2-1 in Big Ten play after beating Nebraska last week 30-23. The Terrapins are 1-2 in the league and did not play last week. They have dropped their past two games after opening the season with four consecutive wins. Minnesota senior offensive lineman Conner Olson of Monticello will be making his 52nd career start tomorrow. That will place him first all-time for the program, one ahead of long-time long-snapper Payton Jordahl of Perham. Former Gopher quarterback Adam Weber had 50 career starts. Olson says it has been honor to be a Gopher and the record is meaningful to him because he got to do it around all of his teammates and friends. Tomorrow's game kicks off at 2:35 P-M.
