(Chicago, IL) -- Golden Gopher running back Mohamed Ibrahim (I-bruh-hem) of Baltimore is this week's Big Ten Football Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 263 yards and a touchdown in a 13-10 loss to Iowa.

Ibrahim won the weekly honor during the 2020 season, as well. The 263-yard effort was the fourth best single game effort in Gopher program history. His first half touchdown was his 19th of the season, which is the most rushing TD's in a single season for any Gopher ever and is tops in the nation so far this season. On the season, Ibrahim has 1,524 yards, which is second in the N-C-A-A. He has run for 100-yards or more in 19 straight games and has at least one touchdown in 11 straight contests.
