(Minneapolis, MN)  --  The University of Minnesota football team improved to 2-and-3 with a 34-31 victory over Purdue at T-C-F Bank Stadium.  Gopher linebacker Josh Aune (AH'-nee) intercepted Boilermakers quarterback Jack Plummer with less than 30 second remaining to clinch the win.  Mohamed Ibrahim rushed for 102 yards and three touchdowns.  Minnesota quarterback Tanner Morgan was 15-for-22 for 264 yards and Chris Autman-Bell hauled in five passes for 129 yards.  The Golden Gophers were missing 25 players and staff due to COVID-19 protocols and injuries.  The Maroon and Gold play at tenth-ranked Wisconsin next Saturday.
