(Minneapolis, MN) -- Rich Hill and four relievers combined on a three-hitter as the Twins blanked the Cardinals 3-0 in Minneapolis. Hill gave up just two hits and a walk over five innings for the win. Taylor Rogers pitched a perfect ninth to pick up his first save. Nelson Cruz opened the scoring with an RBI-double in the first inning. Eddie Rosario added a solo home run in the fourth and Alex Avila also plated a run for the Twins, who swept the two-game series and improved to 4-and-1 overall.

The Twins open up a four-game series with the Cleveland Indians tonight at Target Field. Jose Berrios will be on the bump for Minnesota. Cleveland will counter with Shane Bieber.
