(Santa Clara, CA) -- The San Francisco 49ers have run their way to a third straight win, knocking the Minnesota Vikings yesterday in Santa Clara 34-26. San Francisco racked up 208 rushing yards, improving to 6-5 on the season. Elijah Mitchell ran for 133 yards and a score, while wide out Deebo Samuel added 66 yards on the ground and two touchdowns before leaving with a groin injury. Niners quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 230 yards, one T-D, and an interception. Minnesota signal-caller Kirk Cousins finished 20-of-32 for 238 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick for the Vikings, who slipped to 5-6 on the year. Minnesota wide receiver Adam Thielen had both scoring catches in the setback. Vikings running back Dalvin Cook left the game in the second half with a shoulder injury. Minnesota visits Detroit this coming Sunday for a noon game.
