(Eagan, MN)  --  Minnesota Vikings special teams coordinator Mike Priefer (PREE’-fur) will not be returning for a ninth season in 2019.  Priefer is leaving to become the special teams coach for the Cleveland Browns under new head coach Freddie Kitchens.  He said in a statement, “I will always remember my time spent with the Vikings and deeply appreciate everyone that I was able to work with during my time there.”  Priefer was born in Cleveland and his father began his football coaching career in northeast Ohio.
